Pizza by Alex
If you're only able to eat one meal while in Maine, you'd do well to dine here. This Biddeford tradition has just one item on their menu -- pizza, and they serve up the best one that we've had on this side of the Atlantic. Their pizzas are personal-sized, so if you're hungry you'll probably be able to finish one of the Greek-style pies yourself. Our favorites include pepperoni and Yaya's Greek (onions, feta cheese, and spinach). If you want to order like a local, ask for yours "well done in the old oven."

Beaches
Biddeford has several beautiful beaches on the Atlantic Ocean that are open to the public. Two of our favorites are Fortunes Rocks and Biddeford Pool. Playing in the waves or the sand is lots of fun, and although the water is relatively chilly (even in summer!) the ocean breeze and water are refreshing.
Take Pool Street (Routes 9/208) from downtown Biddeford, then turn left onto Bridge Road. At the end of Bridge Road, turn right for Fortunes Rocks (Fortunes Rocks Road) or left for Biddeford Pool (Mile Stretch Road).
